The largest event of the 2024 AAU Gymnastic season will host more than 2,900 participants from 31 different states. All will be traveling with the common goal of taking home a AAU Gold Medal. Athletes will be split into four divisions, Youth Girls, Special Stars, Boys 4x4, and Adult levels.
The Youth Girls division is split into: Level 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, Open Optional, Copper, Bronze, Silver, Gold Platinum, Diamond, Sapphire. The Special Stars division is split into: Twinkle Stars, Shining Stars, Super Stars. Boys 4x4 will be one level with varying age groups. Adult Level will be split into: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Sapphire, Open Optional.
New for this year’s event will be the Parade of Champions Opening Ceremony. The event will take place Thursday, June 20 starting at 6:30 PM. All athletes are invited to participate in the parade and walk. The parade will start at the Daytona Beach Pier and athletes will walk from the pier all the way to the Daytona Bandshell. The festivities will start after the parade concludes with a live DJ, food trucks, competitions, and fireworks to close out the night. Be sure to arrive on time to get your spot in the parade!
AAU Gymnastics is excited to be partnering again with the Kids Helping Kids Charity program this year. There will be a booth inside the venue for all guests to come and check out all of the amazing support AAU and Kids Helping Kids are providing athletes around the United States.
