2007 AAU GYMNASTICS AGE GROUP NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

July 9, 2007: The 2007 AAU Gymnastics Age Group NationalChampionships took place July 4th through July 8th at the Tampa ConventionCenter in Tampa, FL. Almost 1500 gymnasts came out to participate in the event. Check back soon for photos!

Originally posted June 25, 2007: July 4th through July 8th the 2007 AAU Gymnastics Age Group National Championships will take place at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, FL.

Nearly 1500 gymnasts from California,Iowa, Rhode Island, Georgia, Ohio and many other statesare expected to participate in the event.

The four-day event is being hosted by the Tampa Parks and Recreation Department, and Inter-Krewe Council of Tampa will provide volunteers for the event.

Radio Disney Fun Squad will be at the opening ceremonies which take place on July 4th, and include a Parade of Champions. The Florida Aquarium will offer a Fireworks Display following the Parade of Champions, tickets are $10.

Medals will be awarded on the all-around and for specific events.
